| In 2012, the at the time very young dummies stormed the stage of Humo’s Rock Rally with unprecedented primal force. The audience in attendance was left speechless and the jury rewarded their steamy electro-rock with a gold plaque. Twelve years, two EPs, two LPs and a whole host of hits later, brothers Lennert and Janus Coorevits are still going strong. ‘Cry For Me‘, ‘The Reeling‘, ‘Holy Love‘, ‘Satellites‘, ‘I Remember‘ and the latest feat ‘There’s No Sex Without You!‘ are all haunting electropop songs that grab the listener and won’t let go. Compact Disk Dummies make it a point of honour to turn every venue they visit into a churning dance floor. They previously proved this on the big festival stages of Rock Werchter and Pukkelpop. On Friday 12 July, the venue will be the Minnewaterpark in Bruges and you can expect a fat party there too! |
