Since they made the soundtrack of a generation with ‘Watskeburt?!’, Faberyayo, Vjèze Fur, Willie Wartaal and beatsmith Bas Bron have been relentlessly making their mark on the music scene of the Benelux. With unstoppable hits like ‘Sterrenstof‘, ‘Get Spanish‘, ‘Manon‘ and ‘Hollereer‘, the Dutch hip-hop formation has since become part of the collective memory.

In addition, they have helped determine what is hot and happening for more than 18 years. Just think of Faberyayo’s solo work, WiWa and Vjèze Fur’s podcast ‘Drie Kwartjes‘ and Fatima Yamaha, Bas Bron’s trendy side project. But the quintessence remains De Jeugd Van Tegenwoordig, with whom they unleashed the record ‘Moderne Manieren‘ on the world last year. Once again, we hear inventiveness, catchyness, humour and rebelliousness. With a hefty portion of swagger and a healthy sense of folksiness, the Amsterdammers traditionally play every stage and festival in ashes. They proved that before at Cactusfestival and are happy to do it again this summer!
