| Does GOOSE still need an introduction? The electrorock outfit from Kortrijk has been a beloved guest at the Minnewaterpark for years, consistently causing seismic tremors and massive crowds. In 2024, the band celebrated its 20th anniversary. That milestone didn’t take them to Cactusfestival, but it did take them to Werchter — where they tore down The Barn — and to the Lotto Arena, preceded by a try-out show at the Cactus Club. With bangers like the ultimate anthem ‘Synrise’ and classics such as ‘British Mode’, ‘Call Me’, and ‘Words’, there’s no need for GOOSE to explain how to turn a festival field or arena completely upside down. At the moment, GOOSE are fine-tuning their sixth album at their Safari Studios in Kortrijk. But anyone who spends days tinkering with synths and drum machines could use some fresh air now and then — and summer just happens to be around the corner! Especially for the fans, the band is stepping out of the studio to do what they do best: unleash a gigantic party. At Cactusfestival, they will mercilessly carry on the party kicked off by Madness, delivering a monster of an aftershow — for the first time as the closing act! |
