Cactusfestival takes place in the enchanting Minnewaterpark, located in the southern edge of the Bruges city ring and within walking distance of the station and the historic city center.
Bike
Bicycle Parking
Travel safely and environmentally friendly – come by bike! Right next to the entrance of the festival grounds, we provide a large bicycle parking area for our cycling visitors. The lower your emissions, the closer we’ll let you park!
Charging lockers for electric bikes are available at the Markt and Station bicycle parkings. You can also charge your e-bike at the bicycle parking at the BMCC (the Bruges Meeting & Convention Centre) on Beursplein.
Tip!
If you’re coming from the direction of Ghent and enjoy a sporty ride, you can take the scenic route along the Ghent-Bruges Canal. The bike path is mostly car-free and brings you right to the entrance of Cactusfestival.
Blue Bike
Did you know that there’s a bike point at Bruges train station where you can rent a Blue-Bike 24/7? For a daily rate of €1 per bike, you can rent two bikes with a single subscription card.

With the train station of Bruges at a triple jump distance, Cactusfestival is very accessible!

Evening travel in Bruges
After a pleasant chat on a summer terrace, a nice dinner, or an enjoyable performance, the evening service will take you home safely!
The Evening Line in Bruges consists of fixed routes within the city as well as between Bruges and the surrounding municipalities.

• No worries! Every night, right after the last performance, a direct bus to Gent-Sint-Pieters station (no stops along the way!) departs at 1:45 AM from the festival entrance.

• We recommend using alternative means of transport such as bicycle or public transport as much as possible!
• Are you coming by car? Avoid the city center.
• Leave your car in the car park next to the station, a 200 meter walk from the entrance.

If you decide to come by car and have a place left or are you looking for transport yourself, you can now offer or get a ride thanks to Eventpool!
After a short registration you place an ad and you will come into direct contact with other festival-goers and who knows, you might even make some new friends!

Are you coming by car? Then avoid the city center!
You will find a spacious pay car park next to the station, a 200-metre walk from the entrance.
We would like to once again point out the favorable location of Cactusfestival: the Minnewaterpark is a 5-minute walk from the train station of Bruges, which is also the departure point for the buses of De Lijn.
Save yourself the trouble of looking for a parking space and come by public transport or bicycle!
