| Inside this bear of a man resides an ultra-talented and charismatic colossus of American rap. Action Bronson, the chef-turned-rapper-turned-TV personality, is a phenomenon. The rapper from Queens was born to an Albanian father and a Jewish mother and grew up in a cramped apartment, surrounded by cousins, aunts and migrants who had fled the war in Kosovo. A broken leg kept Bronson – real name Ariyan Arslani – away from the stove. He used the time that suddenly became available to seriously focus on the raps he had been playing around with for a while. The rest is history: with his debut studio album ‘Mr. Wonderful’ (2015), following several heavily hyped mixtapes, he instantly became the man of the moment. Since then, Action Bronson has been a pillar of alternative hip-hop, holding attention firmly with his musical beats, laid-back vibe, larger-than-life personality and sharp rhymes.
