Oasis Hangout

Fancy a bit of a chill-out? Cactus Oasis remains the go-to hangout spot on the banks of the Minnewater or on the sunny terrace of the Oasis Bar. Meanwhile, children can romp about to their heart’s content on the imaginative Bolwerk play structures dotted around the site.

You’ll find these playground structures at Cactus Oasis this year:

Playscape

There’s no Cactus Oasis without this attraction. The Playscape has become a staple of the park. You’ll have hours of fun on this “bouncy castle,” made of giant balloons.

⭢ Open continuously

Circus, bouwplezier en gerecycleerde aardbeienpotjes! Met meer dan 2500 potjes bouwen kinderen
(én ouders) samen een kasteel van wel 3 meter hoog. Jongleren, balanceren en knotsgekke
trickshots maken deze unieke animatie compleet. Laat je verbeelding de vrije loop en beleef samen
een magisch bouwavontuur met gerecycleerd materiaal!

⭢ Doorlopend open

Woesh is another must-see at Cactus Oasis. On this lively open course, you can practice your circus skills. A few spectacular pieces of equipment are being added this year: the Mast, the Bascule, and the Rola Bola. Let Woesh surprise you!


⭢ Open continuously

The name is a playful reference to “loose parts”: loose materials that children (and adults!) can use freely to create, build, drag around, imagine, and start over. In this large, open play area, you won’t find any new plastic toys, but you will find everything our planet actually already has more than enough of: scraps, forgotten objects, materials that were once something and can now become something completely different.
